License was suspended for late payment,what is the cost of reinstatement?

I got a ticket for driving with suspended licenses because of a ticket I payed but they said it was late so they suspended licenses and didn't notify me.what is the fee and how do i go about it.I also have to go to court for this.What is going to happen there.Am i just at the will of the red tape bureaucrats.WHAT CAN I DO???????? Get this the officer said they could take me to jail but he let me go home(how sweet} they are going to take me to jail for driving with suspended license for a ticket that i payed? am i the only one who see something wrong with this.What in the world is really going on??????????? signed--frustrated and confused---
