Can I prevent my license from being suspended in two days?

I got a ticket but failed to appear in court and pay it. I found out that my license will be suspended on June 26, this sunday. I don't have the money to pay for it so I need to go to court on Monday but by then my license will have been suspended. So I have two questions. First, if I did pay the ticket over the phone before Sunday could I avoid my license being suspended or will I still have to pay a reinstatement fee since it's sunday? And my second question is: If I wait till Monday to work out a payment plan, what can I expect from my license being suspended? Does it take a long time to get it back and how much will I have to pay the DMV? Thank you for your help.
